You will be using BearGym.com to access the materials for the 10 Week Wellness Program. You will get a login id and password for easy access. After you log in to BearGym.com you will be able to interact with the trainer.

You will also find a week by week guide that will explain to you step by step what you will be working on during any particular week.



Access to The Blog for News and Commentary

Starting with week 3, you will get access to the Blog. Here you will find topics that go beyond just exercise and nutrition, but that are also relevant to one's health.

In the blog, I talk about how businesses market their health and fitness products ( exercise equipment, dieting plans, foods ) and how they influence your buying decisions.

You will also keep access to my blog after you finish the 10 Week Program so that you can stay up to date with health and fitness topics.



Excel file used for easy tracking

Based on experience, I have decided that using Microsoft Excel makes it easy for you to track your exercise and eating habits.

You will be using a simple spreadsheet to track your daily exercise routine, record your eating habits and work on your individualized assignments. You will be submitting the file to me regularly for review.



Communication via audio and video

I have made an effort to demonstrate my knowledge and experience via audios and videos that you can listen to or download to your IPOD and listen to "on the go."

You will have access to over 50 videos and audios that I have created for you. They will cover a variety of topics and will serve as the main educational tool. On top of this, you will have access to a 24 hr forum where you will constantly receive feedback and answers to your questions.



Communication via the forum

You will be able to ask me 100's of questions. They will be recorded in a forum that you can access anytime from anywhere. Isn't this great?

I will give you personal attention. YOU can ask me any question that you desire. The best part is that once you are done with the program, you KEEP all your questions and answers. Everything is stored for you for your your access anytime.

Additionally, the forum enables you to easily search through your own questions and my answers so that you find the information you are looking for quickly.



Progress and Success Hotline

You can brag about your progress and success. This hotline enables you to record your activity as you progress from one week to the next. You will also use it to express your feelings and comments about the program.

For example: "This whole week, I have been able to eat every meal at home as opposed to going out!"



Crisis Hotline To Provide Motivation

You get your own Crisis Hotline. You will use it when you are about to eat fast food or when you don't feel like exercising.

When you call the Crisis Hotline, you will listen to a recording and you will also be able to leave a message.

For example: "I am so hungry right now. I think I will order a big fat burger tonight."

The Crisis Hotline's job is to prevent the above events. In the Crisis Hotline I will explain to you why it is important that you stay on track and continue with the program.
